Hello. After a few days of testing the OpenPli Image I found some bugs. I know that the OpenPli mustn't support the DMM's STBs. But I think these Bugs weren't there in the past and this Bugs arent dependen't on the latest source code because this features are working with other Images with the OE 1.6 sources too. Well here is a short list of them :

 

     - The Softcam installer that appears after you have installed the Image doesn't works. (Scam 3.60 is installed but works not. / I must delete SCAM 3.60 with force dependencies and install Scam 3.59  to get this to work.

 

    - The Display freezes up after some time with all skins especially when you open the Teletext

   -  When I open the PPanel an empty site appears

 

What do you mean ? Are this Bugs fixable ?

I can't imagine that no one in the OpenPli forum uses a Dreambox anymore.

No one in the team is.

 

- The softcam installer does work. It might be that Scam doesn't work, but that is something different.

- Teletekst issues are known, and caused by the driver. Since DMM is closed source, we can't see their code anymore, so we don't know what they changed to make the drivers work. Which is why we dropped support.

- There is no ppanel present in the image.

1. Yes but the version that the softcaminstaller installs does not work. An other Scam Version from the feed is working. Maybe that could be changed.

2. With the original OE 1.6 Images with the OpenSource Code this teletext issue isn't present. So the sources are there. Or am I wrong ?

The display freeze with teletext should be solved right now...

The ppanel does work once a ppanel xml file is available (e.g. with installing CCcam).

For Scam I cannot help... But I suggest it might be related to the newer libcrypto we're using... but the old one should be available too...

Thanks a lot because the teletext display freeze supports that the Display burns in and I don't wan't to make my Display unuseuable.

I will now test the Image again and I will post If the Bug is fixed.

Ok this bug is definately fixed thank you.

But I have another Bug found. I don't know if this is an Dreambox specific bug or not but in autoresolution I can't choose 720p24. With an other autoresolution ipk this is working. Could you please change this because I think that shouldn't be Problem because Autoresolution is definately not dependent on the oe 2.0 sources.
