Hi,

I'm using the latest build of openpli 4 on my dreambox 500 hd.

 

Before some update +- one month ago, when changing the channel the picture between the change was going black until the picture of the new channel appear.

Now when changing the channel the picture freezes until the new channel image appear.

This is very very bad when having a satellite switch trough DISEQC, because i have a still picture for some times 15 seconds or more (time of motor rotation). 

Please bring back the black background between the changes or tell me how to bring it again and stop this freeze image between changes.

Thank you for the quick answer however i don't have any "various settings" inside the system menu.

my systemlanguage is in dutch, so I have to guess the english menuentry names.

If its not named various settings just pick the second entry from the top.

Very strange, its indeed missing in your menu. On my system its right there, in fact the second item from top, but your menu item mentioned second is "Enable teletext caching"

 

My system is a XP1000, It has been reported before as missing. Hope you can manage to understand or google translate this:

yes i found this image on goolge and i see what you are talking about.

 

And i dont have it!

Dmm doesn't have this option indeed.... But it seems they made a change in their latest drivers that offers thst freeze as new feauter... While other boxes have that functionality configurable...

This is the worst F...... feature ever!!!!

 

i will have to find an alternative to openpli, because this is really a terrible idea, making beta 4 unusable to me!

I love openpli work, but this is a huge NO from my side.

Good luck, If some alternative knows do it without "/proc/stb/video/zapmode" ...

This is a new feature. One month ago this was fine.

i will try to roll back to version 3 and hope to solve this.

I really don't need this feature, i don't want or need to be able to change anything,i only need the black screen between channel switch as before.

In my opinion for all that have a motorized system this feature is really stupid.
