Hello all,

I have installed the Cooltvguide onto my Technomate Nano, which is running OPENPLI.

I only see Now/Next information in the guide for the channel I am currently on. The other channel's EPGs are Grey.

How do I download the Sky UK TV Guide so that I can see an EPG on all channels not just the current channel?

Thanks

Jimbo

As far as I know, there are no genuine OpenPLi images for Technomate so I'm afraid you will have to seek help somewhere else.

Cooltvguide is just an interface to show epg, not for downloading epg. ;)

Hi Philip,

I appreciate that Cool TV Guide is just a nice front end for the EPG.

I guess the question I'm asking is how do I get the Sky UK data onto the box?

I can still only see the guide for the current channel and the channels on a similar transponder. The other channel now/next are greyed out while scrolling up and down.

Thanks

As Robinson already said, openpli does not support technomate. ;)

we don´t have epg problems here with openpli, so you have to ask your image builder for a solution.

If the person that made the image used a complete copy, you may have an XMLTV importer and a Rytec EPG plugin you can install...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

if you can access the plugins menu (which I'm guessing you can as you installed cooltvguide) you need to download and install xmltvimport-rytec set it up and your good to go.

DM 8000 using Latest PLI.

the '4D' image that uses all of the openpli information in the bootscreens etc is full of bugs, if you use these images, you will need to manually download the epg data by pressing the blue button, then selecting 'download crossepg'
