I have discovered a bug using a DM800 HD box with DVB-T Internal Tuner

Image OpenPli 2.1 (2014-04-02).

 

I want to tune to, f.i. UHF Channel 67 (842.000 Mhz)

I start a manual tuning.....

 

 

 

 

..... but the box always makes a channel 21 scan.

It is problem with config DVB-T after reboot/restart ...

See, if your setting of DVB-T tuner is wrong. See, if you setting is on "Europe,Midle Easy ...DVB-T" .

 

(But yes, is there little bug..).

Yes, of course, setting in tuner configuration is DVB-T Europe, Middle East, Africa.

It was the 1st. thing I checked,

 

In order to tune to desired channel, I had to restore an old lamedb file, which had the channels stored

Ok, I will see on it. I think, it is for frequency only. For channel it works well, ok ?

I can not enter channel on DM800 HD.

On Type of Scan , I can only choose between Complete and Single transponder.

On other boxes, f.i. Xtrend ET9000, ET 8000, below type of Scan is another option which says Use frequency or Channel, and there I can choose to enter channel directly.

But on 800 HD it doesn't appear.

Im have a similar issue since the last update, when I switch on my DM500 HD. The start channel is on DVB-S should be DVB-T.?

Therefore I have to go to the channel menu and select either favorites or all to get back to my channel list, Is this the same bug or another one?

I do not understand. This bug was for scanning DVB-T only.

It seems, you set "set as startup service" on some channel ?

What is displayed on next screen as freq. in MHz, when is scanning ?

may be, that problem is in detection DVB-T tunner, when your tunner is as alone tunner. I must see on it, but I cannot simulate it...

Well, I don't mind if channel option doesn't appear. I know frequencies for channels.

 

What is annoying is that you enter freqüencies (650000, 842000, 850000,.... Mhz), and the box always tunes to 474000,  whatever you enter.

try copy file into /usr/lib/enigma2/python/screen , then restart gui ( and remove this .py).

There is no screen folder on /usr/lib/enigma2

 

I've tried /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens  instead

 

There is a ScanSetup.pyo file.

I have uploaded .py file.

Restaring enigma2.....

deleting py file (pyo modification date has been changed)

I try.....

 

And It works !!!!!!!

It works both ways, either using channel or using frequencies.
