Hello
I followed this guide with openpli 4.0 worked perfectly on a Vu SoloSE
doing so
root @ vusolose: ~ # opkg list | grep pcsc
opkg install libpcsclite1 - 1.5.2-r0
opkg install mipsel32el-ccid-pcsclite-pli4 - 1.4.16-r4-1.8.11-r5
vusolose root @: ~ #

i'm testing on a mut @ nt hd51 openpli 6.0 rc i can not find the libraries

telnet launch command

root @ hd51: ~ # opkg list | grep pcsc
HD51 root @: ~ #

no result

I guess (?) because the HD51 is an ARM based receiver not Mips

Gigablue Quad 4K & UE 4K
.........FBC Tuners:
------------------> DUR-Line DCR 5-1-8-L4 Multiswitch to 1.5M dish(28.2E)
------------------> Spaun SUS 5581/33 NFA Multiswitch to 80 cm dish(19.2E)
.........DVB-S2X into 90cm dish (27.5W)

Octagon sf8008, AX HD61, Edision Osmio 4K+, Zgemma H9Combo using Legacy ports on multiswitches
Zgemma H9twin & Zgemma H9 C/S mode into Giga4K

They are built for ARM too, in OpenPLi 4. I don't know why they are not in OpenPLi 6, the recipes seem to be present.

Edit: in OpenPLi 4 it is only built for the "cortexa9hf-vfp-neon" architecture, probably due to some dependency. I see the Wetek BSP define this dependency. It is not available for any other box, and since the Wetek isn't build for 6.0-rc, it isn't available there.

What is this used for?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Hi WanWizard,

This should be proposed as a package in the feed to be installed on any image. I saw that I already ask for it in april 2014 and chistrophecvr gives the bitbake file.

It is used to support USB external card reader using the PCSC standard (for exemple most of the ID card reader used for some governmental applications use this kind of card reader), so this allows you to extend the number of card readers on your STB, this kind of readers are easy to find and don't cost too much. They are a good alternative to smartgo/smartreader.

This is a really living projectn well followed and maintained:

https://github.com/L...seau/pcsc-tools

OpenPLi should really provide it in all images feed.

It is part of OE, the recipe is already present. But because nothing has a dependency to it, it isn't being build at the moment.

And can you add it to the build process so it is available for everybody in the feed?

It's being looked at. If a solution is found, it will be added to "develop", which means it won't be part of 6.0,  but of 6.1, as 6.0 is already in release candidate mode, pending the release.
