Erm yes it does have a GIT here

Flabbergasted i cant get cross epg to download data tried all sort of versions just flashes through starting downloader  starting converter loading data and does nothing??

 

Normally works fine from in built plugin download but not anymore!

 

Im using open pli 4 on a dm 800hd.

ave you tried to reply /usr/lib/python2.6 to /usr/lib/python2.7 ?

In the posted package (openpli4.0 machine: vuduo) the directory /usr/lib/python2.7 was not shipped, so you must copy the files provided in python2.6 dir.

This way it seems working....

usr/lib/python2.6:
-rw-r--r-- 1 malo malo 24235 mag 20 20:53 crossepg.py
drwxr-xr-x 2 malo malo  4096 mag 20 20:53 lib-dynload

usr/lib/python2.6/lib-dynload:

Seems the ability to read passed you by ?, This version of CrossEPG requires the Libcurl dependency, install that and it will work, even better ask Pli to build it directly from the GIT.

What on earth is the point in providing such .ipk installers when there is a GIT specifically for this already in existence where Pli and others can freely build it from ?. It's dodgy .ipk files like this made by third rate patch artists that gives a false representation of CrossEPG by introducing bugs into it that do not exist in the official version on the GIT.

We can use a git for it... But than I would recommend it should be politaly pushed e2openplugins....

In the last 0.8.1 crossepg there isn't a required library in package info ( libcurl4 )

without this crossepg not work.... if u do a manual install (opkg install libcurl4) all work fine.

Then either 3rd party ipk misses depends either bitbake responsible to create ipk misses an RDEPENDS...
