Hi there,

I'm using the latest openpli on my DM 7020 HD v1.

I noticed that the HDD starts spinning sometimes when I zap to an encrypted channel (I use a cam to decrypt it). Is it normal?

Thanks

Frank

Then I can't explain it as well. I don't know what you mean with "cam" exactly, a CI or a softcam? Looks like your softcam (if applicable) wants to read/write to harddisk?

Does your skin show harddisk temperature?

Some harddisks cannot provide temperature in standby mode. So they spin up when the request arrives.

Or maybe a swapfile is on the HDD.

how to set up the swap file?

I have no skins showing the temperature.

CAM=CCCAM, default one from your installation procedure.
