Hi,

I can't access my hdd movies on my vu+duo using the openwebif plugin. All the other options are working fine like streaming tv channels etc... my network is ok. Its look like the stream button (demande de flux in french for me), doesn't work; I can't open it to have access to the hdd directories.
I hope i'm clear enough so can someone help me for this please ?

Hmm yes, there might a problem there. And also I think this has never worked on the VU+ Solo, Duo and Ultimo. I don't know a quick solution without alterations to the OpenWebif (which is a separate project).

Not sure what's wrong then: always worked fine here (for all my boxes).

Make sure to have chosen the correct (sub)directory in the top bar.

As I see it, the problem is that the OpenWebIf calls port 8001 for both service and file streaming. The internal Enigma streaming, that listens on port 8001, does not recognise file requests. I am not sure, maybe you can change to port to 8002 (or 8003) and then it would work.

Thanks a lot for your answers. I tried different ports(8002,8003) as you told me Erik  with no success.

To SatKiekerd "Make sure to have chosen the correct (sub)directory in the top bar", the problem is that i do not have access to the subdirectories!

Just have a look on my openwebif interface joigned, I do not even have the little arrow to click on  the "demand de flux" button!  Can you tell me witch port do you use ?

Could I use Webinterface (as before in earlier versions of openpli images) instead ?

Is the recording path correctly defined on the box itself (in the setup), I assume existence of that path makes that menu appear (haven't checked the code)?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Just have a look on my openwebif interface joigned,....

Is that screenshot taken after clicking on 'movies' (under 'Stream') near the bottom of the left vertical bar?

No, Because I do not have access to 'movies' under 'Stream', "demande de flux for me in french", in the left vertical bar , that's my problem ! Nothing appears under 'stream'.

The recording path is correctly defined on the box, it is hdd/movie

With a new fresh image install this morning, openwebif is now working fine for my recorded movies. If it can help!

Have a nice day.
