I think you don't regularly apply patches from others. It's quite a hassle to check the repo for each request wether it has been applied yet. It's so much less work if it's simply mentioned in the thread.

Also added predefined transponder for DVB-C, and Terrestrial region selectable from Manual Scan. Plus a few other minor tweaks (fix poss GSoDs, etc).

Is OpenPLi interested in these changes?

I never managed to get the "satellite finder" working for dvb-c anyway?

Just a simple suggestion...

When manually scanning DVB-T, we have 3 possible options:

Complete, Predefined Transponder and User defined Transponder, and if we choose Predefined Transponder then we can select frequencies with left and right arrows, from 177500 (CH 5) to 858000 (CH 69), but it only appears frequency.

Would it be possible to have channel information beside frequency ?  ==>  Transponder :    (21) 474000 -right arrow-  (22) 482000 .....

Very nice Huevos!

When the code is ready to be released I'll happily apply the patch.

And terrestrial region selectable from 'Manual Scan'. Defaults to region selected in tuner setup.

Erik, this is OpenPLi ScanSetup.py. Current version from the GIT downloaded last night. Added my changes to the file but not tested on OpenPLi. Changes work fine in OpenViX.

Added predefined cable transponder (if tuner config is in provider mode). Also terresrial region is selectable. Satfinder changes in progress

Littlesat, OpenPLi is not so perfect. I had to sort out a major indenting error that ran for at least 100 lines in OpenPLi's version of that file.

It could indeed be that there are left overs here... But somewhere in june at least all white spaces should be gone....

Well the one currently on the git has a double indenting issue that has been there since at least May and runs nearly 300 lines (lines 485-760).

Then I suggest the whitespace errors are fixed FIRST and then the patch is applied.

I will have a look on friday (as usual) then I will have time. I will try to clean up the whitespace issues as well, as far as I am able, because my Python knowledge is limited.

Maybe by that time there already is a newer version?
