Good morning, just signed up to the site.
My question is I've been using an OpenPli image on my dm500c with no problems & want to stay with OpenPli, I've just brought a dm800se c with sim2.10 & want to put the right image on the box, Ive gone to the download section OpenPLi-4.0-beta-dm800se-20140429.zip - will this image be ok as it does'nt say if I'ts sim2 or sim2.10?

Welcome here.
I have to disappoint you, that is not a genuine DM800SE, that is a clone box that has stolen the DMM model name. Otherwise it would not require a hacked sim image.
OpenPLi will NOT run on those boxes, and neither do we support them.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

If it was sold as a genuine box and for the price of a genuine box, yes. If you bought it for peanuts, you as a consumer should have known it wasn't the genuine article.
