Hi.
I usage Openpli 4 on my Vu+ Duo 2 using orginal skin.

How can I have change the date format ?

Currently the date are shown as 06.05.2014 or in some case as 6.5. (dd.mm.yyyy) or (d.m)

This are not standard date formate in Sweden. I like it to show the date formatted as yyyy-mm-dd e.g 2014-05-06

All help are very welcome

http://sourceforge.n.../ClockToText.py

I found a file ClockToText.pyo in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Converter/

How can I change it to affect my need ?

Move it to my computer and run pyton editor and change the date format and then copy it back ?

Complain to the skin builder about not using the correct calls for displaying date/time information.

If I understand correctly, you're using the default skin so you're already complaining in the right place here :)

It is a bug in the skin.

Once again, your translator must to look into your .po file and see, if there are strings for date and "translate" it into your format. As I saw (if is it sv.po ?), all this strings there are "translated" to same format as original source.

F.eg: %d.%B %Y  it translated to %d.%B %Y  but as you wrote, you want: %Y-%B-%d

See on source file, there is translator http://sourceforge.n...ree/po/sv.po#l9

You can download this file, open it in po-editor (it does exist for Linux and for Win too ... poedit ), change string and save => sv.mo. Then rename sv.mo to enigma2.mo and replace it in your box ( /usr/share/enigma2/po/sv/LC_MESSAGES/ ). Restart gui and you will see.

or try this file, where I changed it.

I have yet not have the time to make my own sv.mo, will see if I can do this on coming weekend.

But what have you change in your enigma2.mo ?

I can't see it will affect any date format at all?
