Suppose the problem is VLC (which isn't necessarily the case), then I guess we can't do much about it. You can disable streaming authentication and then it works.

With disabled auth you have the situation before it was integrated in enigma streaming, a week ago. What is it exactly what you want?

If you have a problem that may very well be a bug in vlc, I suggest we leave it, until other people, that can run an up to date version of vlc (or another player), have the same problem.

I have an updated version of VLC i will test it today with password on streaming on and let you guys know

On my Ultimo and ET10000 streaming live channels works without password, but when i want to stream a recording it still asks for username/password

Yes that is logical, if you know what's underneath 
Streaming of live channels (from the web interface) is done using the internal streaming server from enigma. To enable/disable authentication use the relevant setting in enigma (not the open webif plugin). Recordings, when selected from the web interface, are streamed by the web interface itself, so for that you need to change the setting of the open webif plugin.

there is some kind of problem with vlc player android, when you test with pc vlc player it works...I dont know why not with vlc mobile app...On my Xpeed LX3 i still have this problem.
