Hi Guys i am new here and looking far some help with a problem i am having...... :D

I have openpli4 on my VU+ Solo 2 set to 27.5w. My problem is that it wont record properly.. Both tuners are set as simple/single sat/ 27.5w and i am receiving with very good signal with both tuners.the problem i have is if i try to record it starts to record OK but i if i change channel where as it should fick to tuner B it isn't therefore screwing the recording up. it says it is still recording and file size grows as it should but if you try to watch it it stops after maybe 2 or 3 min's. The obvious question does anyone know why this is happening and know how to cure it please?? if i leave it on that channel and don't move it all is well.....
. Thanks guys

This is normal for 27.5W. You can't do anything about that. I assume you are using doublet's script to watch BBC/ITV channels?

You need a different receiver to be able to enjoy watching one channel and recording a different one at 27.5W.

This problem is only for 27.5W, doesn't happen on any other satellites.

If you have a Solo2 and you can watch channels at 27.5W then you MUST be using his script, without you even knowing so. I assume someone must have configured the box for you. Maybe he knew that you needed it for 27.5W?

You can read all about it here: http://openpli.org/f...-big-challenge/

I suggest you familiarize yourself with it and you will then know that it took years before someone (namely doublet, respect!) devised a workaround for 27.5W on Enigma2 boxes. There are even better and worse Enigma2 boxes (short / long script method). Unfortunately, as of today VU+ and ET are in the worse category.

I have exactly the same problem with my Gigablue Quad using long mode, so not just ET and VU+

Gigablue Quad using 4 tuners, OpenPLi 7,  Prodelin 2.4mtr dish with Invacom C120 Quad LNB on 27.5W, 1mt std dish on 30W.

VU+ Duo 4K, Openvix 5.2

Octagon SF8, Openvix 5.1 - neat piece of kit for the price! :D

hi every one,
I am absolutely sure that the problem comes from the soft OpenPLi 4, the decoder can't record a channel and watching another .
I solved this problem by returning to the old openPli 3 versions as everything works very well .
mamisnyou.

I prefer openPli4 but still not working as well as it should be.

(Continued)
If in addition , you use the skin HD Glass 16 9.53 version this skin gives you the opportunity to choose to display two channels of 2 tunners even if they are originally encrypted them appear with OpenPLi 3 but never with opn Pli4 .

What box do you have? Are you even talking about 27.5W?

I'm using VU plus solo 2 which , originally has 2 tuners independently . you can record one program or more via the first tuner and watch another simultaneously via the seond tuner.

No, the sat 12.5 w,  is not interesting me .

but I use the following sats with actuator LNB 1 :

Hispasat 30 w _nilesat 7 .3 w _tlantic bird w 5 _hotbird 13e_astra 19.2E 3B _astra 23.5e -EUROBIRD 25.5 e _badr  26 e_Eurobird 1 28.2 e.

And with LNB 2 :

nilesat 7 .3 w switch A _hotbird 13th B switch _ astra 19.2E swich C.

This thread is about recording 2 channels from 27.5W, not your general problem. You should open your own thread for your problem.

There is nothing wrong with Openpli4 handling 2 or more tuners. I have a Vu+ Solo2 myself and some other multi-tuner boxes all running Openpli 4 and none of them has any problem in this regard. There must be a problem with your tuner setup but it certainly has nothing to do with using Openpli 3 or 4.
