Unable to update providers Rytec ....

please help me

 

Update Rytec providers = download the package crossepgsources.gz

result: Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /tools/crossepgsources.gz on this server.

Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at www.rytec.be Port 80

my crossEpg doesn't work properly ( providers rytec missing)

where can I download version 8.2 ?

As you have OpenPLi 4.0 XMLTVimport is in the feed.

 

Install it via:  Menu-Applications Download (green button)

Go to extensions.  Open Extensions with OK button.

Scroll to the bottom of the list (The list is alphabetical) and install both XMLTVimport and XMLTVimport-rytec.

The first is the actual plug-in.  The second are the sources.

 

After install you can configure the plug-in.  Set the import time (see The FAQ's) , and select which EPG to import.

Cross is perfect for Open-TV, but not for XMLTV.

I used telnet , found and installed these two plugins

After Installing Curl 0.8.1 works perfectly here and is way faster than 0.6.2 and it also has the option to defrag the database as well.

 

0.8.1 is much better than 0.6.2

Cross is perfect for Open-TV, but not for XMLTV.

I tested also only Open-TV, but after download no epg 

 

 

I had the problem that crossepg failed to download openepg in openpli. But after installing curl via telnet it is working great.

You can just try a different skin in Pli. I loaded the Full HD skin and Cross EPG works perfectly for me now.

Hello, i'm on OpenPLI 4.0

i upgraded CrossEPG to 0.8.1 and stopped working

 

the real issue is that curl is not working from CLI...also with a fresh flash

Solved my issue with curl replacing binary with the one found here http://files.lanceth....40.0 (MIPSR1)/

 

But seems still i have no way to run CrossEPG 0.8.1

Ok guys I have tried everything for this and i mean everything lol couldn't get the curl to work using usb and the ipk files , couldn't get the 2 plug ins to work either after downloading them   but 

 

this simple one command on telnet FIXED it first attempt thank god been wasting hours looking for answers 

 

telnet -    opkg install libcurl4

 

and Boom working EPG again using Open PLi 4

you have to update the server site by replacing your usr/lib/enigma2/Python/Plugins/Systemplugin/CrossEpg/crossepg_rytec_update.py

with this file: 

https://raw.githubus...rytec_update.py

 

And don't forget to delete crossepg_rytec_update.pyo in your openpli directory before!
