Hi

 

I using openpli 4.0 . I put iptv m3u8 link in bouquet.when i play the video then its come for one second then video out here is log.

Hi,

 

Please post the content of your bouquet file.

Do you add them manually or do you use a 3rd party tools (like DreamboxEdit) to do so?

Hi,

 

You need to have a full url to play the stream and this URL needs to be converted properly to include it into bouquet files.

Use DreamboxEdit to insert the url, but the url is not the one with the one for the .m3u file it is the url for the real stream that you need to add.

So I guess that gstreamer crash because the url was not correct.

Url is correct its play the stream but after 5 second video not shown only audio come.

I did add the url, with dreamboxedit, and if plays perfectly on a DM8000 under PLI 4.0.

You run video maximum 15 minutes then you will see the issues.

HLS is not working properly on the gstreamer version that OpenPLi use. There is a plugin called livestreamer which is actually http proxy and converts various not well supported formats like HLS/HLS variant/HDS etc to standard http stream.

Yes, no need for type so after the basic url add the rtmp link with : replaced by %3a

Livestreamersrv is a "frontend" for livestreamer library.

Probably you are not using the latest version of livestreamer thats why youtube is not working.

Yes on Satdreamgr images we are updating livestreamer library regularly (the ipk you have is an older version from our image).

Here is the bitbake (using commit hash in SRCREV it better if don't have to mind for connectivity issues) that used to create the ipk.
