Hi,

Sorry to ask what might seem a very obvious question but here goes......

In the download section there are images for :

DM800

DM800SE

I have an DM800HD. I think it is the predecessor of the DM800SE.

My question is should I be using a DM800 or a DM800SE image on my DM800HD?

(Also, for example, if the answer is DM800SE, would it help others, to list in the downloads as "DM800HD/DM800SE" instead of just "DM800SE"

Thanks in advance

Thank you....even if it wasn't what I hoped to hear.

It's a shame: I was hoping to be able to use the very latest SE image that I think now includes the excellent lraizer's autobouquet work.

The newest images for the DM800HD are OpenPLi 2.1 based. That is due to DMM not releasing drivers for new Linux kernels.

Thanks for the information. Disappointing though.

That info might have been posted somewhere here but thanks for saving me possibly hours of trawling.

For DMM the 800 (or 800HD) is an end-of-life box. So no more development by DMM.

Besides that, DMM has decided to stop with open source, upon which we have decided to stop with DMM. The images that we still have will remain to be build as long as DMM doesn't release something that breaks them. After which will we stop. We will also not make images for newer models they will release (or have released), due to their source no longer being available.

This decision has been posted both in the forums and as a news item on the homepage.

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
