Hi To all

I know that there is no more support for  Dreambox dm600 but I try my question whatever....

 

I installed the latest openpli image and I would like to install oscam

Oscam is not in the softcam download menu ?

so i tried to download this version : oscam-svn9761-powerpc-tuxbox-webif-Distribution and run manual instal from tmp folder, then i got no error (installed successfully)

and then there is no emu in softcam menu, and folder in /etc/tuxbox is not created, no oscam file in /usr/bin

 

Any suggestion ?

As to config: Cams in Enigma1 need some configuration files to be able to work. Install another cam from the menu, looks how it is done, and copy and modify the files for oscam.

I tried that, installing CCcam by exemple and it work, my card is reconized and work

But for oscam no way to instal it, I put an oscam bin in /usr/bin, i can now start it manually but config folder is still not existing... very strange,

You did a manual install (using /tmp etc.) but that only works for PLi packages. It could be you should create the config folder yourself. Did you install an ipk file?

The reason it's not in the downloads is because oscam didn't exist when we were creating the E1 images.

I see, i tried to install oscam version with a tar.gz version...

For some reason i cannot create a config file in /etc/tuxbox, i just got a shortcut but nothing else

is there an downloadable oscam version ipk so ? I can only see recent version

It must be possible to create a config file in /etc/tuxbox. Maybe the shortcut (sym link, do you mean?) was created when you installed the tar.gz file. You can just remove the shortcut and create a file instead.

/etc/tuxbox/config is a symlink to /etc/tuxbox so you should put the files in /etc/tuxbox.

I've got oscam working on 500plus which is basically the same system as 600pvr.

If you don't manage it, I can send you scripts and the other files.

I created /etc/tuxbox/oscam and put my files there.

Then you can start oscam with -c /etc/tuxbox/oscam to override the default config location.

I also have the same problems. I tried to use and changed on old script in usr/script (attr.755) but Oscam will not start....No, rc.local on this box...where to tell oscam to autostart? Could you provide a starting script for me?

Put your oscam binary in /usr/bin.

Make sure your oscam binary is named 'Oscam' and the rights are 755.

Make a new directory /etc/tuxbox/oscam and put your config files there.

Put the file in cams folder in /etc/plimgr/cams on the receiver.

You can open that file and put the your oscam version number there but it is not necessary.

Put the file in scripts folder in /etc/plimgr/scripts on the receiver.

Don't forget to change rights to 755.

Then just go to your receiver softcam menu and choose oscam in cams section, save and restart and the choice will be remembered upon reboot.

Hi Kalehrl, thanks for your clear repply but one last question , you write : Put the file in cams folder in /etc/plimgr/cams on the receiver.

Witch file must i put in /etc/plimgr/cams ?

In your Zip there is only the bin and startup script ?

ok forget my precedent post, i just create an empty file and write oscam in it and it work !
