Is it possible to fix epg to a DB500hd with latest openpli 4,
that is not connected to any LNB ?? suggestion please

It uses a tuner/stream from a VU+ with this kind of entries  in userbouquet.favourites.tv

#SERVICE 4097:0:19:ED9:45:46:E080000:0:0:0:http%3A//172.16.16.209%3A8001/1%3A0%3A19%3AED9%3A45%3A46%3AE080000%3A0%3A0%3A0:SVT1 HD

((IPadress is my internal))
servicereferens 1_0_19_ED9_45_46_E080000_0_0_0 in the end of the entry is a ordinary satellite channel on my VU+

I do it this way to have same numbers on all channels, on all STB.

If you have a solution, detailed description please, you are answering a noob.

TIA

If you can get your EPG in using the XMLTV plugin, it works with streams too.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Wife late from work, so I was able to test.

My dumbass   of course it works, but I must have a "valid" lamedb.
How to else know servicereferens ??
After have copied that one from the VU+ it works.

thanks again for answer

This is correct.  Normally if you import the bouquet with remote stream convertor, and the channels do not exist in the lamedb, they will be added.

Of course if you set the streams with some other means, the entries in lamedb will not be set.

Another caveat,  If you have an old lamedb in the client box, the existing entries will not be updated.

This can all be remedied with the solution you discovered.  Copy a lamedb from a "good" location.
