Attached is the new version v7 for plugin XBMCAddons.

Any available and working xbmc plugin can be easily converted for enigma2 images for using with this plugin.

BUG REPORT

If you get GS - post the crashlog.

If no crashlog -

Step 1. Select Debug 'Yes' in Settings (blue button). Select Save.

Step 2. Telnet command :-

init 4 && killall -9 enigma2 && enigma2>/tmp/e.log 2>&1 &

Step 3. Start plugin again. When you have the error - copy the file /tmp/e.log - zip or rar it - and post here.

All posts with error report must include a crashlog or e.log.

Please install all software in Install Software (see screenshot.jpg). Always
install the latest "update" item. After installing "update" item - Restart enigma.

OE1.6 and images with python2.6:

Please install all software for OE1.6 - then reboot image.

ADDON SETTINGS:

Addon settings are in addon folder /resources/settings.xml. Many settings are not useful for enigma2. But you may change language, country etc. Put your chosen settings in default=. But for type="labelenum", put your choice as the last in the values list.

THIS IS A BETA VERSION. IT HAS BEEN TESTED MAINLY WITH XTREND RECEIVERS.

WE ARE AWARE THAT THERE ARE PROBLEMS WITH OTHER RECEIVERS - WHICH 

WE WILL TRY TO RESOLVE. SO - FOR NOW - IF YOU NEED A STABLE VERSION

PLEASE CONTINUE TO USE V6.

 

The main difference with v6 is that a new basic method (from python exec to import) is used. This will allow easier implementation of choicebox, messagebox and captcha etc in future.

Well done pcd a great plugin, I just have one problem with  Iplayer and itv player.

 

I have an  internet connection that is not fast enough to play hd streams, the archived cátchup sectons work fine because they default to a lower resolution.

 

But the live streams only want to play in hd so I probably need to change the default. Could you please let me know which file should be edited.

I have a VU+ Ultimo running Apollo.023 and I am having 2 issues with the XBMC plugin.

 

I have installed the XBMC plugin via the plugin - extensions tabs (v.6).

Once the plugin was installed it said there was an update to v.7 and so i updated  to 20140807.

I am now getting a message saying that there is another update to 20140808. As this update does not seem to be an automatic one i am assuming i should FTP. Therefore I have located the file here     http://ftp.vim.org/m.../darwin/ios/    .

Not quite sure what to do from here on in to install the update?

 

Also I am unable to get the ntv plugin to work at all. *I have installed it via the adons option in XBMC, but it wont let me sign in or do anything??

 

Any ideas??

Hi,

Hardware: Dreambox 7020HD
Software: OpenPLi 4

I installed the plugin "xbmcaddons" from the repository. Installation was succesful and I rebooted the dreambox.
I started Xbmc telling me that there is a upgrade to version 6.
I installed that upgrade and did a reboot. Started Xmbc again and it says that there was a new update available V7 but I have to install it manually.

I installed the update but it wasn't succesful. After that I removed the Xmbc update and rebooted.
I tried to install the "xmbcaddons" from the repository again but it gives me an error. See attachment.

How should I fix this problem?

Yes I did that but when reinstalling I got this error anyway I solved it.

Not quite sure what the problem was but after removing the folder with ftp and installed v6, removed it and installed v7 it's now working.
