I am not sure how to provide/get the technical details as provided by others. Of the top of my head I remember some of them are Star Life, Start Plus, Star Gold, Zee Cinema, Zee Music, Zing, Star Gold, Colors, Rishtey. I can provide a more accurate list in the evening.

That magically made the channels appear in Rytec's EPG? Or you just installed a workaround and leave the problem to someone else instead of looking up the service ref's and help the community?


Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Travel Channel and Travel Channel +1 both have EPG but no description

 

Ref: 1:0:1:D356:81C:2:11A0000:0:0:0 and 1:0:1:CB84:8FD:2:11A0000:0:0:0 respectively.

Indeed.  The website I was using does not contain a description (and also another).

However found a website which contains a description. 

Changed it.

After re-scanning services I lost EPG in some channels, something changed and they show up with a new reference

 

CBS Drama --  1:0:1:C6D7:840:2:11A0000:0:0:0:
CBS Reality --  1:0:1:CD19:844:2:11A0000:0:0:0:
CBS Reality +1 --  1:CB86:83B:2:11A0000:0:0:0:
Scuzz --   1:0:1:D03E:83E:2:11A0000:0:0:0:
Travel Channel --  1:0:1:D356:830:2:11A0000:0:0:0:
Travel Channel +1 --  1:0:1:CB84:83B:2:11A0000:0:0:0:
Food Network --  1:0:1:CD14:844:2:11A0000:0:0:0:
Food Network +1 --  1:0:1:CD1E:844:2:11A0000:0:0:0:
Irish TV --   1:0:1:CB5C:839:2:11A0000:0:0:0
 
Most likely other services within the same transponders lost EPG too,I only have these on favorites.

I went through my list of favourites as there have been a number of updates in the recent months which are missing in your configs. This is what it boils down to:

 

Remove all the following entries in rytec.channels.xml - they don't exist any longer:

Re-checking my last request, I found one copy-and-paste error. This entry was supposed to be added, not removed (it was not there before, so you may have already found it):
