I cannot see any overlapping entries.

Are you sure you clear all EPG before you import the new one?

 

If you do not clear it, overlapping entries can always exist.  This is due to program changes.

The old entries are not always perfectly overwritten en remain in memory.

Is it possible to get the correct epg for Sky Sports 5 Ireland? It's different from the Sky Sports 5 UK epg, mainly on Saturdays when there is live premier league football on the Irish channel, but there is a different schedule on the UK channel. http://www.skysports...ch/tv-guide-roi is a link for Sky Sports Ireland listings.

My tuners are pointed to 28.2 but for some reason my sat scans at 28.4 - all my channels are 28.4. It is the same with my parents box as well. I don't know why this is. So I cannot have Sky Sports 5 epg at 28.4e?

No.  There is no end to this.  Then everybody start asking for this.

 

Check your /etc/tuxbox/satellites.xml file:

It should contain:  <sat name="28.2E Astra 2E/2F/2G" flags="1" position="282">

 

Chances are that it contains:

<sat name="28.2E Astra 2E/2F/2G" flags="1" position="284">

 

Second reason why this is happening, you installed a dubious bouquet file.

 

Correct the above and rescan 28.2 E.
