OK thanks a heap Doglover.
Set it up flawlessly, works on the box. Wrong times for events but my time settings are all wrong in my box, need to fix that first
Will get back to ya as I would love to learn how to make the ini's
Cheers Dog

wish I could edit posts... TIMES are correct actually just OPENATV's amiko alien 2 image isn't changing the LCD time.. in metrix skin its correct NTP time
and so are the channels Bein sports and EDGE only little 3 - 5 events held and no event description on EDGE event descriptions on Bein however.. must only update a days events.. but seems its kidnapping some native EPG on the Fashion TV HD event info cos its way way wrong (some German news channels events info ) and same info for a few TP's doh disable maybe the EIT import all the chan's from my own guide.xml even the aussie terrestrial side perhaps
unless Sat feeds use no EIT

Did you update the truevison SiteIni with the attached.
There are a couple of issues with the one I posted before.
This one does also descriptions. However on EDGe sports there are no descriptions.
Willy
Unzip and copy the file in the webgrab's ProgramData map.

Furthermore: I cannot give any warranty on the use of a Amiko Alien. It might work, It might not.
I only know the import works fine on OpenPli and a number of other images.
And as far as I know Amiko Alien is not supported on a OpenPLi.

It's fine OpenATV have an excellent image for Amiko Alien 2 atm their nightly build is quite a different feel for enigma2 on Alien 2 can't see myself going back to spark now cos it just works so well.
Also, xmltv_import works like a charm on OpenATV with that setup you posted. Just a matter of making a few new xmltv ini's, my goal was to make a bouquet for all these random working Satellite channels over here in East. Also I could
just chuck the working channels in with my Terrestrial channels in one huge bouquet like Foxtel does with its packages & local DVB-T stations
I'm currently looking at this scrub/ini code to do it myself. Seems fairly straight-forward...imagine it won't be but ok yep will ask if I have any issues
Yep. updated the SiteIni with your latest ini. It all went really well except I have EIT turned on and its humping my FashionTV HD channel xmltv_import
whats the best way to solve this issue ?? something will need to be deleted or cleared because I turned off EIT and the EPG is still the same old data
Posted 9 August 2014 - 00:46
ok maybe it isn't EIT with FashionTV HD cos the guide.xml says

ok I will try and minimise my ramblings
the site_id of the other FASH 1 EPG is much much better but I will leave it over the course of today too see if its correct. (they have so many short programs hard to tell which is which)
EDGE looks correct but behind maybe 1 hour will look over today
beIN Sports is correct precisely
that's my import for today will come back later .. going to read some more doc on siteini
cheers

Doglover, possible to break down/discuss the process/scrub of a Siteini file with you ....... will use the truevisiontv.com.ini ?
I'll do it in segments or maybe you can break it apart in segments for me. I know so far.
1) setting up link / looks like set time and first read
2) title first read ?
4) Final cleaning up the read to output title and description

This is till the version which has the problems with some of the channels (which you are experiencing)
My last version - see my post above has this in it
index_showsplit.scrub {multi ()|"title_id":||\}}
Which is clearly different from what you have.
Use this last version, pls.
Willy
PS: you are trying to understand as a novice a rather complicated SiteIni. If you are serious about learning this start with something simple.
like telkku.com.fi.ini (a finnish website) This will have no use for you but it is a start.

i was just using that as an example for you to explain to me the sections in the code, tis cool. what's wrong with the version ?
started with the HK channels.. wget'd the entire site with WinWget first because there's no right mouse click on any of the source (thanks China !)
site link for reading EPG http://www.tvbnetwor...date=2014-08-09
so you need name of the channel & the date you want
look ok so far ? is there a test mode or debug mode

Debug mode: Place (debug) in the line. See examples
url_index{url(debug)|http://iphone.truevi...time=|urldate|}
urldate.format {datenumber|UNIX|0}
index_showsplit.scrub {multi (debug)|"title_id":||\}}
index_start.scrub {single|"start_time":||,|,}

yep no probs, got it reading the right epg file on the server its found 16 entries
gee...............................
debug arguement makes things easier
ok well I can see my showsplit is probably quite wrong
Posted 9 August 2014 - 12:45
woops <span class="id" doesn't end with a </a> rather a </span> DERRRR
Posted 9 August 2014 - 14:43
*index_showsplit.scrub {single(debug)|<span class="title">||</span>}
Nothing is wrong with that.
The regex syntax is for real nerds.
