I had a few problems with my official vu+ duo lately

first the capacitor blew, which I've replaced and all good now

then last week the softwear update put my box in a continuous crash loop

I reflashed and all good again

now my motor will not run (motorised dish) when I try to change different satellites

it will move step by step via Positioner Set Up

in my satellite list I can see 9.0 east and 0.8 west but all channels are grey

when I go to Tuner Congiguration they are no longer there

and I do not know how to add them back

 

any ideas?

I found out about my missing sats I didn't include them in my satellites-xml list

 

I still cannot get the motor to change sats (even though it is working vis positioner set up)

 

Now, I found a hand written note i did when I first bought the box saying no to usals

 

Im in advanced configuration mode and its set below

You either need to set the motor up as USALS or with a stored position, and that stored position has to be written to the motor.

this was working for a 3 solid years until recently (I've never used USALS)

 

the wiki page looks like it needs updating as it looks like configuration mode page is now different

wiki page says to set (within advance configuration)

committed DiSeqC command - AA

 

were the page in the image (4.0) does not have an option to change committed DiSeqC command and set as  AA

 

configuration mode in image 4.0 now has

DiSqEQC 1.0 Command      None

DiSqEQC 1.1 Command      None

 

I don't know what to do

is now

DiSEqC 1.0 Command - Port A

 

 

It was changed so It corresponds with what is written on the switch.
