bahh, thanks for the help anyway.

guess I'll stuff around more when I have time, post the result later, if i have 1. these channel refs are so shit on Alien 2

Can you change the channel ref, inside a favourites bouquet (can it have a custom reference 1:0:0:0001: etc )

and then refer to this via the own.channels.xml file ?

I do not think so.  Once you change it in the bouquet the reference will point to something different.  And the channel will not play anymore.

 

The common reference between the own.channels.xml file and the channels itself is via the lamedb.
