Hi All,

 

New to all this and have read ALOT recently, so apologies if I have missed the answer for this elsewhere.

 

Got my VU+ Solo2 connected via HDMI to an A/V Receiver, but on UK FTA HD channels can only get 2 channel dolby (downmix off)

Is this a driver issue?

 

Also, are there plans to add the Solo2 to the Wiki Documentation?

The Solo2 plays AC3 (5.1) fine via HDMI.
Are you sure the service is actually broadcasting 5.1?

Many thanks for your reply.
Looks like I was looking for a problem that wasn't there. Just assumed I'd missed something

As you suggested, I have since witnessed 5.1 audio on nearly all HD channels with the exception of BBC One HD!

Guess they rarely broadcast this?

Indeed. And the same applies to ITV HD.
