Hi,

I have just noticed that some encrypted channels are not decrypted when I stream them via OpenWebif, but they are decrypted when I watch them on the box.

For example: 1:0:1:3E26:2EE0:13E:820000:0:0:0:

What am I missing or doing wrong?

I also have experienced that some of my new recordings are no longer decrypted and I cannot watch them on PC.

There is a configuration option "descramble http streams", maybe you have set it to "off"?

nope, these channels are not encrypted, just vlc can't play them unless you specify SID of such channel...
this Polish provider (Cyfrowy Polsat) broadcasts services from its transponders with a shared PMT

in OpenWebif settings you can set option 'add service name to stream information' to 'yes', and you should be able to watch these problematic channels through streaming

@blzr @Robinson

That's it! Thanks!

@Erik

I do have descramble http streams set to off.

I do however still have a problem when I record these channels. I cannot play them in VLC and mediaInfo says channels are encrypted... how can I fix this?

you mean playback recordings on the PC with vlc?
that's the same story then...
for vlc you have to specify the recorded channel's SID (decimal), either by opening .ts file with an extra option (:program=1234), or by putting it into m3u playlist created for such a problematic recording (#EXTVLCOPT:program=1234)
and although there is dedicated option in the vlc interface for such situations Playback > Program > choice list of available sids, but for whatever reason, after selecting a correct SID you have to wait about a minute or more for a playback to actually start...

so, long story short, I would suggest to use other media player for these movies, for me for example (Gnome)MPlayer opens these recordings with no problems...
