Temporarily de-activating the sites to get some attention for this problem, and get the author of the plugin or whatever to fix it, may be the only way to counter this effectively.

Can't you re-direct the "banned" ip nrs to another file with a warning.xml.

I don't think the user will ever see this, and it's just a download of the channel list, not of the EPG data itself.

 

So I assume it's a custom code check on a change of the EPG data, by downloading the channel file and checking the timestamp or the checksum or something...

 

You could permanently ban them, so they will run out of EPG data...


Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
