I have read about trouble of loading UPC Direct EPG, because several different locations contains the EPG information. Problem is, that even I include Hungary, Slovak, Romania and some other sources, I still get no EPG for following channels (0,8W):

1_0_1_77F1_2C3_600_E080000_0_0_0
1_0_1_7595_2BD_600_E080000_0_0_0
1_0_1_78B7_2C5_600_E080000_0_0_0
1_0_1_785B_2C4_600_E080000_0_0_0
1_0_1_7794_2C2_600_E080000_0_0_0
1_0_1_78B9_2C5_600_E080000_0_0_0
1_0_1_77F5_2C3_600_E080000_0_0_0
1_0_1_78C2_2C5_600_E080000_0_0_0
1_0_1_7609_2BE_600_E080000_0_0_0

Also I miss some Viasat channels EPG:

1_0_1_78B8_2C5_600_E080000_0_0_0
1_0_1_7856_2C4_600_E080000_0_0_0
1_0_1_47E_3_56_300000_0_0_0
1_0_1_C3A_5_56_300000_0_0_0

Could they be fixed?

Sorry, here with names. Honestly dont know about country- most of channels have multiple languages- Hungarian, Czech, Romanian. I had included all three to sources, but no luck with EPG.
About 4,8E- language options are for nordic countries- FIN, SWE, Denmark, Norway.

Ok there are Hungarian of Romanian channels.

I did a search and discovered the following:

I have:

1:0:1:7856:2C4:600:E070000:0:0:0:

Added now:

1:0:1:7856:2C4:600:E080000:0:0:0:

And this happened for all the channels (except 2)

I remember this is a 0.8W - Thor problem. Some images scan the channels on this sat as E080000 while other images scan this as E070000.

There are several solutions:

1. Use an settinglist, where these channels are identified as E070000

2. Duplicate the service ref link in the channels.xml file with both the E080000 and E070000 ref.

Most of the Hungarian channels do have the E070000 ref in our channels list.

I could duplicate this also, but you have to point me to the channels which do not have EPG.

These 2 channels:

1_0_1_47E_3_56_300000_0_0_0
1_0_1_C3A_5_56_300000_0_0_0

I do not have a clue, what they are. I suspect they are from Viasat4.8E

1:0:1:C3A:5:56:300000:0:0:0:

Are nordic channels. They are included in Norway, Denmark and Finland (do not why not in Sweden) (take your pick of language)

TV1000 is the old name of Viasat.

Forgot to mention I have added the channels. Some are in the Hugarian file, and some in the Romanian file.

Uploaded the channels file. You can try now.

Reboot your box (to force a channels file download) and reimport.

UPC Direct seems to be OK, will try once more to reboot tuner and import channel list- viasat action still miss the EPG.

One more question- I read somewhere, that it is possible to create own channel list, to avoid downloading unnecessary channels EPG. What is the location of this file in openPLI 4.0? After restart- will the custom file be loaded or file from server?

Thank you for your help! Editing XML is something I have not done before, for now I have tried several hours with no result- testing a file I made for only discovery channels, but after downloading EPG all other EPG appear- moviechannels and others. Location of files media/usb/discovery1.channels.xml, and etc/epgimport/discovery1.sources.xml . For editing I use EditiX. Could you point out what I am doing wrong?

Put the attached file discovery1.sources.xml (after unzipping) in /etc/epgimport

In the XMLTV importer (EPGimport) go to select sources. Select the Own sources and import.
