Box restart when doing automatic channel search, it go to 98-99% then the box crash and restart. First satilite channels works, second do not find any channels after the crash.
Same thing if you try to update box crash.
Box is DM500HD
I hope I post the issue at the right place, if not mod please move it.

There is no active support from the OpenPLi team for dreamboxes anymore, due to Dreams decision to drop support for open source teams.
Is it a genuine box, or a clone? Have you tried with a new flash (http://openpli.org/download/dm500hd), to rule out any plugins, EPG, or other things that might influence the way it works?

Yes it is a genuine box. All was fine untill today. I did a software upgrade in the box.
If I flash this will i loose all my settings?

The box is fine all that is not working is channel search, can I take a file from one of my other boxes and put in to this one?? And if I can what file is that?

If you have multiple boxes, the easiest is get something like DreamboxEdit, get a copy of your channel lists from one box, and send it to the 500...
