Could you update the titles to show "Filtered" in the Group Header.

I've been hoping that this potentially very useful plugin could work under OpenBlackHole too, but it's not.

I saved the last version you published, but whatever action I try, it results in a crash.

For instance, pressing the BLUE button produced directly this crash I attach, but also every other attempts didn't work. The only possible action seems to be... pressing OK over a bouquet. Then, if you try with YELLOW, it crashes again.

 

It would be so useful if this plugin worked also under other open images, because there are many channels who have got their own EPG, more accurate than the XMLTV sources, but there are others who haven't.

I'd use it to choose, among the XMLTV sources, only those channels with a poor or inexistent EPG. But I can't.

Hi guys,

 

I am trying to find now90s and 5select (UK channels) via epgimport filter but after running the routines to link them, those two channels can't be matched.

Am I doing something wrong with the channel name, I tried  e.g."Now 90s" and "now90s" but no luck, all other UK channels I've tried to link has been matched correctly. I used the given sources "Rytec UK Sat/Virgin XMLTV".

It seems it has an old name.

Looks like this plugin has broken support for HD skins (1280x720). Some lines go off-screen and remain hidden.

A bit late, but I just ran into this issue as well.

 

Create an empty file

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/EPGImportFilter/settings.conf

Restart enigma2.

This takes then the pain away for building your own channels list when you want to limit the amount of data imported.

Usefull for those with limited memory in their box.

I do see that when this program is installed after use, an error message appears. (crashs) The cause is the setting.conf not generated by the plugin.

A bit late, but I just ran into this issue as well.

Restart enigma2.

The only thing you can do temporarily is place this file in the folder yourself, then it works again. But this is not the way.

Yes I know. Hence my post, so people looking for a quick fix know what to do.

How about this PR? Move settings file to /etc/enigma2. Fix crash if settings file absent.

PR got merged. So in a future update, EPG import filter should not crash anymore if there is no settings file. It will also put its settings file in the proper place, so it will be backed up.

 

NOTE: if you want to preserve your current EPG import filter settings across a flash/update: copy the file

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/EPGImportFilter/settings.conf

to

/etc/enigma2/epgimportfilter.conf

before backup, flash/update and restore.
