Hi There,

I am from SG and a newbie.

Recently, I got a dream box DM500. I was able to watch available channels but suddenly due to some erratic problem on the device i'm not.

I used to have  channels available/stored in my bouquets but not long after this happen i went to the setup and

Dreambox Settings --> Software Update --> Internet update --> PLi Jade3 20090627 (with new tuner/framebuffer drive)

I hit on the update button. Eventually, software was successfully updated.

My question is i lost all my bouquets and channels. Is there any kind helper out there who could assist to recover my original status or files.

Is the files still within the dm500 or perhaps did i accidentally kill it?

PS: I didnt factory reset my box.

Your help is greatly appreciated

Thank you

There are several newer versions of OpenPli for the DM 500, check here:

If this is up and you have a working network connection, you can download several channel lists from the feed(s).

Jade 3 is old and not much used anymore, I think.

Regarding above, Does that also mean i need to link DM500 to a null modem and install [OpenPLi-beta-dm500-20130505-305.img]

by a PC  ?

May like to find out whats the software to handshake and execute those commands to achieve the installation?

Appreciate lots.

Don't know if you have a DM500, a DM500+, or a DM500HD, but I think this can be done via an usb-stick?

After this you set up the network and then you can download your favourite channel list from the feeds.

I am not so familiar with older DM machines. If you still need help, I hope one of the others can help you.
