Hi.

 

How do i upgrade my boot loader on my dreambox 500hd.

 

I have a old peter pan img and need to upgrade to OpenPLi, but i need to update my box to second stage.

 

I get a msg whit invalid og old file when i try to flash it whit the OpenPLi nfi file.

 

Someone that can help me? I can't find the file I'm looking for.

First make very very sure it's an original box! Then go to www.dreamboxupdate.com and download the correct SSL#84 for your box. Please look carefully when downloading!! The boxes exist in 2 versions. The V1 produced before 17-07-2013 and the V2 with new memory size. Only the V1 can be updated to OpenPli, the V2 can't

Thanks, the box is original. 

 

www.dreamboxupdate.com had the SSL#84, everything worked perfectly.

What is changed in new dreambox-secondstage-dm500hd - 84-r18.0.0 in openpli feed ? Older was 84-r18.0 . Can't see any new secondstage loader in http://dreamboxupdate.com/

It's still version 84 so yes, nothing has changed.

Don't know if it's because that I'm using flash expander plugin or not, but after today's secondstage loader update from pli feed i had to use dreamup to revive my box and flash 84 loader from http://dreamboxupdate.com/ ...
