Hello!

When viewing the photo there is a problem if you set in the resolution setting of 1920x1080, also when the test images in the display settings, so the same problem occurs.

Attached File  settings.jpg   36.37KB   2 downloads

So the picture is displayed in the default settings:

Attached File  Photo.png   1.67MB   2 downloads

So the picture is displayed with a resolution of 1920x1080:

Attached File  bad.png   763.89KB   2 downloads

So output test image 1920x1080:

Attached File  test.jpg   54.12KB   2 downloads

Tested on the receivers Dreamboks, then they are displayed normally pictures:

Attached File  testscreen.png   67.23KB   2 downloads

That is the only problem on the receiver's VU+

All the tuners installed OpenPLI4. The system was set to zero!

How else can I fix it?

Sorry for my English!

That is because the drivers used by PLi don't support the 1080 framebuffer.
So always use the same resolution as the active skin has.

Why is it possible to use drivers with 1080 framebuffer without changing kernel? Did VU+ fix their drivers for never OE?

Nope, recent drivers are for new kernels (3.13.5 for newer boxes, 3.9.6 for elder ones).

Yes I've been informed that the newest drivers (finally) support a 1920x1080 framebuffer.

DMM does downsize it to 1280x720.... So it is not real 1920x1080... (see the vertical bars as evidence)

The current VU drivers we currently use do indeed not support 1920x1080...

Newer VU drivers seems to suport it finally but they build their drivers on an older development environment...

I'm not aware if the current work-a-rounds (which the OE-A seems to have adapted) do work with our latest OE changes...

We still waiting on VU to for drivers build on a more modern working enfironment...

XTrend had a 1920x1080 frame buffer years ago...
