Hi!

I have used OpenPLi for years, but after my last update last weekend, then
something strange happened with my timer recordings. There is no big problem, but
very annoying. I have several recurring timers, and I have entered names and
descriptions in the timer settings. See an example (Swedish):

All timer recordings are working properly, but the name of the recordings is not
the same as the name of the timer. In this example "Rapport". Recordings has
always assigned the same name as the timer name, in all years.

Now it is very common that the name of the program being sent AFTER the program I'm
recording, is the name of the recording. For example, if "Big Brother" is sent after
the program I'm recording, then the name of the recording is "Big Brother", not "Rapport".

What is causing this error? I have never experienced this before. How do I fix it?

Well, it was so easy. Thanks!

I have made my timers in OpenWebif in the computer, and there is not that option. Is this a fairly new feature?

Yes I had the same surprise  . I found it convenient because if the broadcast have changed, it doesn't keep the bad name.

But I can't use it because I slightly change the name of the series, I add the number of the season (NCIS - S11 for example) to memorize where I am and not record old seasons and it changes it for NCIS  .

Perhaps it would be possible to see that the beginning of the file is the same ;) . Otherwise no matter :) .

I have this problem also. I'm running Openpli 6.1 on a VU+ Ultimo4K.

And I can not find the option "Rename name and description for new events"

Is it in some other menu in the 6.1 version?

Did you change the system settings to "expert" level?

Actually that might not be necessary. The option appears in the timer you are programming after you change it from a one time event to a recurring timer.

Ah. I only checked the first timer in the timer list, did not see the option and started searching the menus.

And that first timer in the timer list happened to be a one off one.

Thanks!
