Dear Team,

          just one Question.

Is there planned to update the Kernel Version in OpenPli 4 in the near future ?

Other Image Providers like OpenATV or VTI already use Kernel 3.13.5 and higher.

OpenPli 4 uses Kernel 3.3.8, this is an very old Version.

Thanks in Advance for your Answers.

Drivers are not only linked to a specific kernel, they are also linked to a specific build environment, due to the libraries they used.

The VU+ building process (and that of other images) is outdated and not compatible with OpenPLi's up to date system.

So at the moment we can't, but we're working with VU+ to modernize their build system.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
