Could you check the return code (errno), and/or make a proper patch for E2? (indentation needs fixing too). Then someone from PLi can push it for tonight's build.

I am not sure if you can rely on the error value. Every manufacturer might return a different value :(

I don't read PM -> if you have something to ask or to report, do it in the forum so others can benefit. I don't take freelance jobs.
Ik lees geen PM -> als je iets te vragen of te melden hebt, doe het op het forum, zodat anderen er ook wat aan hebben.

When an errno != EINVAL occur it will print also a debug message to help us identify the issue...
