Please tell us when you are ready with your experiment with Pli

I have asked, but not get any link to old pli that works

Use Blackhole on all my boxes until you are ready

Maybe better you go  back to working pli from oktober and testing new pli in laboratory

This is the worse version of pli since you started 10 years ago .. Feel sorry for you that it happens when you celebrate 10 years

@maveric: if you have no clue what is going on, it would be better for the motivation if you refrain from making such statements.

My friend .. There is nothing wrong with Blackhole, but I love OpenPli and hope to use it again

Re-flashing works well on Vu+ Duo2.

I have Duo and Solo2
Have had problems since 4 dec and lost all settings ... after several flash, I gave up and will wait for a stable version. Have been an "OpenPli" since the beginning 10 years ago and never had problem like this.

The only thing I was asking for, was to be noticed when this IMAGE is stable or close to stable (not any answers lika Erik Slagter)

Well, I re-flashed today without problems, Autobackup took care of restoring all settings.

If you have the autobackup plugin active, you can never loose your settings anymore. And if you enable autoinstall in the plugin, if will automatically re-install all your plugins after a flash.

So that should no longer stop you from flashing, we do this several times a day without problems.

As to your question, as far as I understand, the issues of the last week have been solved, everyone reports all problems are gone after a flash (like mattiL did).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

And if you enable autoinstall in the plugin, if will automatically re-install all your plugins after a flash.

But not those that were installed separately because they are not in the feed?

Also, what about some extra scripts in usr/bin?

You can do that also.

It's just a bit work.

Create a autoinstall in /etc and put there the link to the ipk.

So put the ipk on hdd or whatelse.

/media/hdd/plugin/enigma2......

Than create a backup and those lines are created in autobackup in the backup.

Thanks Meega. I will look into it.

One more question. In my case I have the following path for Autobackup: /media

It is in flash, right? Is this correct?

Can I just move /media/backup folder to /media/usb? My external USB drive is mounted under /media/usb and I have no /media/usb.

Also, is it possible to change the current path (/media) in Autobackup options?

I haven't reflashed, but I tried the update today and I'm offered update of 24 packages. It looks as if it's back to normal, after that huge update. In the past couple of weeks, there was only one package update available.

I tried re-flashing my DM8000 with OpenPLi-4.0-beta-dm8000-20141213.nfi but I still get "this new beta software could be unstable" when I try to update.

It does however update OK if I override this until I get 0 new updates.

But when will this warning disappear? I see that there is no red flag anymore on the builds.....

Thanks

The warning won't disappear because it is always a nightly unattended build of beta quality software.
