Hi,

 

i think, there is a bug in software of Xtrend ET-10000 / 8000.

 

If the rotor turns from Astra 28 East to Astra 9 East (channel 11938 H 27500 3/4 QPSK) , then the dish takes 8PSK parameter from wrong channel (DVB-S2, 8PSK, 11938 MHz, Polarisation H, Symbolrate 27500, FEC 3/4, DVB Roll 0,35 on Hotbird 13 East).

Then I can see on display  11938 H 27500 3/4 8PSK and there is no picture on 9 East (PAT was not found)!

 

Can this problem be solved?

Why receiver doesn't correct this parameter automatically?

There isn't such problem with Xtrend 9200!

have u checked ur satellites.xml file in ur box? try to download new updated file

Where can i download this table? By the way, i have tested this with new image and the problem existed already.

u get updated satellites.xml file at http://satellites-xml.org/

satellites.xml is only used during the scan, after the scan everything is in the lamedb file. So if your satellites.xml really needs an update would be nice to start a new scan to have the lamedb file updated.

But I think that OpenPLi automatically update the satellites.xml during update so manual update is normally not needed.

i think so to, that xml table will be updated with new image.and this is not a solution for this problem.

In my opinion the problem is not xml-table, but receiver change PSK and FEC-Values automaticly to the false parameters. Thats why QPSK became 8PSK and there is no picture

if u have dreamboxEDIT sow can u scheck setting are right on ur box and corect it of wrong

I'm using DreamboxEdit, and the channel parameter in the table are right, but receiver change they themselves, if iI turn the dish.

 

it is on the table: Dom Kino 11938 H 27500 3/4 DVB-S QPSK

it is on receiver (Channel-Info): 11938 H 27500 1/2 QPSK

Checked(rotor ET8000/ET9000).
Confirm the problem.

The problem of the driver.
Most likely due to a delay processing the signal(SNR) in et8000.

Hi,

 

As a temporary work around you should disable background scanning. This will probably avoid that the information will be changed in your lamedb.

But this sounds like a driver bug like already mentioned.

lamedb can edit and without disable background scanning.

I can write a plugin that will do restart the tuner to the desired services.

Or wait for new drivers to fixed problem.
It is unlikely ...

We will wait a little bit  till new drivers are present.I hope, that will not take to long.
