VU+ Duo

Hi

I installed a extension called enigma2-plugin-extensions-smoothhide_for_openpli_4.0 and after boot its stuck at the boot image.

First

How do i create a log file?

i tried

init 5
enigma2.sh > ~/debug.log 2>&1

Attached File  debug.log   3.98KB   12 downloads

but i can't really  see any errors?

I have uninstalled the extension via telnet but still stuck.

Any help is much appreciated.

Bad plugin....

Its installer does besides some other things the following nasty things:

rm -rf /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens/InfoBarGenerics.py
rm -rf /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens/Screen.py
rm -rf /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens/DVD.py
rm -rf /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens/InfoBar.py

And replaces them with new (now incompatible) code.

Some time ago there was a warning here about this plugin that it could easily break due to future code changes of openpli.

If you ask me, best is to reflash your box. I'm not sure if above files are the only ones the plugin changes since I dont know what "version" you installed.

Better not install plugins that are not from our feeds.
