Hello,

just flashed my ET4000 with the neweset OpenPLI 4.0.

I found the Plugin newxtrend-hbbtv (2.5) in the feed which I wanted to install but it always fails.

Am I the only one with hthis problem or is the package not working on the ET4000?

What would be the right HBBTV Plugin for the ET4000?

Thanks

Vogi

ok... i tried on the console.

and here it says "Not selecting enigma2-plugin-extensions-newxtrend-hbbtv 2.5 due to incompatible architecture"

As far as I can see in /etc/opkg/arch.conf, I would need a "nf" (not float) ipkg.

Is something like that available? And does it even make sense on a ET4000.

Try to edit arch.conf and add:

arch mips32el 16

And try again

Thanks - now I can install the plugin and the entries in the menu are there, too.

But it doesn't "work"

Pressing red Button... nothin happens until I leave with exit.

Selecting the Plugin itself, I find the Back, Forward, Favorities Menu... but also here. When I select any URL, no page is shown and the TV Channels stays on the screen.

When installing, no other IPK was pulled. Are there any dependencies which a have to install by "hand"?

There are even no error messages...

Thanks

Vogi

AFAIK the et4000 isn't supposed to run hbbtv, and it if does, it should use the "old" browser, which should be in the feed, no need to install it from extern.

Well... Browser works. But HBBTV isn't working here. When pressing the red-Button, I see the spinner for some seconds but nothing else happens.

Yes... I know it's a slow box. But as these plugins are in the feed I wanted to try.

But you are right. The "old" et-webbrowser plugin is working...

stop... also not working after a clean flash.

It did with older OpenPLI versions but not with the latest ones.

So, indeed there isn't any working plugin?!?

Thats how I was using the old et-webbrowser 1.6.1

But after flashing the latest OpenPLI I cannot use it anymore.

et-webbrowser doesn't work at all (not even a failure message)

After pressing red button, I get back only with "exit". But nothing more.

with Open opera the browser is working for http pages.

But also here, after pressing red button is see the spinner fot some seconds and nothing more.

Exit button returns me to normal "TV mode"

newxtrend-hbbtv shows the same browser menu - but sites aren't shown

And HBBTV doesn't "work" either.

So I am not sure if I do something wrong or if the latest changes to OpenPli aren't compatible to the plugins...

For the newxtrend browser you need to have ntp accessable on the internet (don't shoot the messenger...)

I treid all kinds of red button combinations on all three plugins. I don't get it...

Are you shure, it should work on the ET4000 and latest OpenPLI?!?

Already flashed again before using the next plugin to ensure that nothing is messed up... no success.

Can I see any logfile or hint what goes worng?

Sorry, I don't quite understand - do I have to configure an NTP server? Or something else?

TIll now I just installed the plugins and tried them "Out of the box"...

No just make sure any internet traffic from port 123/udp to port 123/udp is passed by your router AND that you have a working internet connection.
