Watching your first screenshot, I see one thing which doesn't come in  PLi-HD skin, at least on the PLi-HD skin I have on my ET boxes.

Some days ago, some changes on libraries (somebody deleted ChannelNumbers converter  ), made this skin stopped working.

I've fixed it, here I upload it again.

Changes on lib files, including bitratecalc.so

If this is a the credo , I like it. I am reading the board for find the best skin for me.

Maybe you will find my hint usefull , if you looking for idea to make your skin still beter and beter.

 

The idea is to get maximum possible information on the channel list (your third picture in the first post of this thread).

Current situation : left right corner used to show live preview.

The hint for change left side:

- remove preview completly

- move all color buttons labels to the right

- move transponder data down , to the area used before by color buttons

- add more lines with info about next event to 2

- increase the area for EPG info space using  current and received space after removing preview

- increase the size of this window of channel list to the possible maximum, reduce size of all margins for make additional size for biger EPG info field and increase the size of EPG info chars for be possible to read the text easier.

 

This window is the most often used window in the skin and inceasing it's functionality should be useful.

Looks like an addition for a specific skin crashes...

I would recommend to choose the standard skin.... (remove the line that selects the skin in /etc/enigma2/settings)

I have no crashes on my et1000, updated.

Yesterday, and today, online updates have given 0 upgreadable modules, so my image is from may 9th.

I see you're using a dm8000.

Maybe something is different to my Xtrend's, where I test everything.

Do you get crashes each time you call second infobar ?

Could you please, copy here, the info you have on file /tmp/ecm.info when you get crash ?

It seems that pid: info is empty , or it's called another way.

I am sorry, but the crash is in the loop. I can only see the start main screen of your skin and after some seconds green screen on tv display and enigma reboots.

The fact is , initial skin's screen is with additional second info bar and it is possible , the problem is with supporting additional functionality.

I do not know what to do to prevent initial open skin main view with second infobar.

I suppose, when the box starts is uses only one channel/tuner . Now is storing 2 recordings from 2 transponders and maybe is used for watchinf the third.

The emu is gbox 02.2A

Sorry, I've never tested it using Gbox, just because this emu doesn't appear on softcams plugins download menu.

It's tested using CCcam, SBox, MgCamd and Oscam.

 

Replace this library on Converter's folder.     MydExtraInfo.py   10.34KB   50 downloads

You'll have no ECM info on Gbox while I investigate how to fix it, but at least you won't have crashes.

My backup of openpli2.1 has it downloaded and installed as plugin by the plugin interface in the openpli firmware, from official openpli site . The world changes itself.

 

Lets return to the fix. I think you have removed all from section crypto except : CA System: system name.

This way it works without crash, but the lack of the most interesting information make this solution useless.

No, no, I don't give it up.

I've just done the fastest and easiest change to make it work without crashing when using that emu.

I won't talk about that emu, but of course I'll try to fix it if possible.

Besides, since a few weeks ago, when i got spar time I'm doing some tests on this skin, and I've added weather picons or meteoicons (selectable by plugin) on a top infobar.

Wait please..... I hope to publish a new version soon....

Personal taste.. Horrible skin. Much too much needless info and colors.. Not for me...

Yes, it's horrible. It's the worst thing I've ever done in my whole life. I don't know what I could be thinking those days when I did it.

It's so horrible, that I won't publish any more updates, so it won't get even worse that now.

Look at final screenshots, as they'll be the last thing you'll see from this skin.
