ok, got the internal server error again :

Attached File  pb-22.jpg   57.39KB   8 downloads

I now know when it happens : when you modify a timer and you create a timer conflict, the server error appears.

another thing I did : in the remote timerlist I selected a de-activated event I know that cannot be activated (timer conflict) and I pressed the "Toggle status" button. The timerevent disappeared - as I suspected, it was not in the timerlist as an active event which should not have happened as this now generates a timer conflict.

I opened the event, and pressed the green OK button - at this point the internal server error message appears.

do you use the webinterface to modify recorder timings ? I know I have to be careful because I have created other timer conflicts in the past when using the webinterface - it does not do a good job at detecting these conflicts.

Dimitrij :

I was zapping around, checking my timer recordings, when I saw the following :

Attached File  pb-30.jpg   134.88KB   12 downloads

isn't that a bit too much icons in the display ? Shouldn't that be 1 row of "full red" icons with a partial red above & below ? I believe that's how it was before : recording icons took notice of any icons preceding & following them in the channel-epg list. It seems this doesn't happen any more.

mind you - I can live with that, I just wanted to report this.

keep up the good work !

If you only want to stream channels from a remote box, use the fallback tuner configuration instead. Much more transparent.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

I would like to stream from the tuners of two different remote boxes to an other one.

I know partner plugin can do this, but I´ve red, remotechanalstreamconverter is better. But can I configure the remotechannalconverter to use more than one remote box ?

What plugin do you think is better?

When it is the partnerplugin, which one is the right one.

partner

or

partner_mod

from your feed?

To stream from different boxes I think remotestreamconverter will do the job as it imports remote bouquets you select and create them locally. Like this you'll be able to stream channels knowing from which stb you are streaming.

It works, but I´ve a next question around scheduling the tuner to streams and timers

If i programmed 2 overlapped timers on my remote box with 2 tuners the box normally need the 2 tuners and if I watch TV the box switch to the timer channel for making the record. This is the normal handling and I think it is a good handling

Now, if i stream from this remote box to an other box a channel I see on the display on the remote box that he handels this stream as a record channel because one record led is on. The result is, if the two timers need other transponders for recording the two programmed movies only one timer can make the record but the other timer can´t swtich to the tranponder because the stream blocks the tuner.

Is there a configuraton chance that the box can cut the stream to the remote box to make successfully the two timer records?

I know that ist not easy because there is a possibility that the stream were recorded by the other box.

It depends on the szenario which one must have the priority, frist come first serve or timer have a higher priority than an stream

I don't know about that, never tested it. I know OpenATV has an option to abort streaming when tuner needed for recording, but I never tested it too.

Is there a chance to integrate a switch in openpli to enable aborting of streams when tuner needed for recording?
