And indeed this error plays havoc with the import.
I knew you would find the problem
I renamed the existing file, and put the temporary file in place

There is an error with this:
<url>http://enigma2.world...rytecxmltvuk.gz</url>
But the complete website is down.
Download the attached file, Unzip and copy the rytec.sources.xml file to /etc/epgimport/
And when the server world-of-satellite.com is UP again,
Should we leave your "rytec.sources.xml" file?
or re-install to restore the old file? (if we must restore, can you tell us when the server is on again?)
Thank's for everything

The World of Satellite is not yet on line. (It is up, but I cannot upload to it at the moment)
When it is back online, you could re-instate the old sources file. Or just leave this one and do not bother. You still have 3 different website to download from.
Or install this one: http://forums.openpl...t-and-crossepg/

The problem is with the World of Satellite website. If you remove this website in the conf file you are using, everything will work again.

I have to say I am not very happy with this.
From what I understand from this OpenATV has their own solution, but they "steal" the xmltv stuff made here, and my bandwidth (which I don't pay to sponsor OpenATV)?

You could delete these as well:
http://www.tm800hd.c...tec.sources.xml
http://www.ebook-dir...tec.sources.xml
Since there not anymore active.

I also have kept http://xmltvepg.wanw...channels.xml.gz in the sources.xml that I included in the DreamOS *.deb file containing the xmltv sources for Dreambox 7080 and 820.
If you don't feel comfortable with this I can remove it.

I have an issue with it in general. I've set it up to support OpenPLi's XMLTVEPG plugin, currently most downloads seem to come from elsewhere.
At the moment it's in excess of 120GB per day at the moment, going further up every day, causing my server to go over it's bandwidth limits, which costs me money every month. So yes, I would like you to remove it, I don't want to pay for anything that supports DMM.

No problem, the *.deb with the *sources.xml was removed and replaced with a warning:
Ihr werdet auch ein *sources.xml auf /etc/epgimport benötigen, aber da unsere holländischen Freunde Ihre Bandbreite für die nicht-Dreamboxen schonen wollen, wurde ich gebeten das *deb zu entfernen - helft Euch selbst.
You will also need a *sources.xml at /etc/epgimport, but as our dutch friends want to save their bandwith for non-Dreamboxes, I was asked to remove the *.deb - help yourself.

As usual, your childish nature surfaces again.
Care to explain why YOU think I should carry this cost for this? Big a big boy, rent a server from your own money, and have Rytec use it as a feed.
Put your money where your mouth is, pathetic cry baby...
p.s. this is my server, my personal money, so I can do and decide what I please. I am not your dutch friend (I'm not even from the NL), and nobody at OpenPLi (dutch or otherwise) has anything to do with this. So, big boy, remove that.

You better geolock your server besides his bad attitude this guy cant be trusted at all and why not do everyone a favor here: reset his password and block his ip.
But you all are far too kind to even consider it.

I asked, I got an answer which I accepted, and I followed the request and documented the reason to prevent questions, and I even followed WanWizard's request to correctly address him without any personal blaming to prevent misunderstandings - now WHO is childish here ?
It is not my fault that I can't edit the above post to reflect these changes.
