I use Hbb and IMDB and a few other internet services and I want o lock down my router as far as possible.

Are the port numbers available in a list anywhere?

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi,

The only port you can safely forward from your router to the box is port 22 (ssh).

All other ports, in particular the web interface (various ports) and telnet (21), should NEVER be reachable from the internet.

But NOT forwarding any ports from your router, which is good, is what happens by default, unless you instruct the router otherwise.
