Developers have added a new option to the startup channel from boot.
Procedure from remote controller:
- Channel up
- Select the preferred channel to start with from boot/standby
- Press [menu]
- Set as startup service (2nd option)
Choose an option
-- Only on startup (Boot/Reboot)
-- Also from standby
Main advantage: box now always switches to the preferred channel on reboot or waking up from standby.
- Box is now always in the preferred Favourite channel group. (Partner no longer needs to browse to find the preferred favourites with the main programmes)
- the dish motor is now also on the main viewing satellite when the picture comes up
Sports fans: don't put the receiver in standby on commercial breaks / pause / intermission as to receiver will switch to the default startup channel/satellite!
