There is a website on the blink at the moment, and it seems that this plays havoc with the EPG import.

(this event should normally been catered for in the plug-in, but it seems not to be working with this particular error).

As I can not revive this website at the moment, the solution is to put an adapted rytec.sources.xml file in /etc/epgimport.

Download the attached file, unzip and copy the file to /etc/epgimport

Is this the reason why the Norway EPG is missing at the moment? I just have EPG data for 3-4 hours from now....

Yes.  Everything is affected.

In OpenVix, the workaround is a bit different.

In etc/epgimport you have a hidden file.  Open this file and delete the world-of-satellite line.  Save.

ok, thx... Works now... :)

But I did not have the epgimport directory but /etc/xmltvimport and in this there is a file called sourcelist I had to change...

btw, any need to add this line again when the site is up? I.e is it really needed?

/etc/xmltvimport : I was not aware of this directory name change in the VIX version.

Thanks for pointing this out.

When the website is back (not yet now) you can add the line again.  But it is not needed.

The WoS server seems to be on-line again.  However the EPG service is not active yet.  (they use a emergency server now)

The WoS website is back online.

You can update the rytec.sources (and Crossepg) configuration file with the one found here.

Or you can chose to keep working with the present set.  No problem.  (it won't use the WoS site then).

In this case, that entire server is offline due to abuse, so remove it.
