Hi

I have been using Rytec XMLTV for many years now om my Vu+ DUO with OpenPli 4

I use to get my data from http://www.timefortv.dk where I download a epg.xml file apx. 21 Mb in size.

This has been working really fine.

Now I have change to xmltv.se, becasue timefortv closes thire xmltv service, where I also download a egp file denmark.xml file apx. 41 Mb in size

I have modified my channels file to match the ID from denmark.xml file

I have modifies the source file to download from xmltv.se

When I manualy select the new source file and start download and import, nothing is imported !!

I have attached the Rytec config files and epgimport log file.

Could you please have a look at maybe tell me what is wrong..

Regards

Jan Larsen

Post deleted.

I spotted something else, and my first explanation was not correct.

Have to look further.

Try replacing the sources file with this:

<sources>

Jan xmltv.se Denmark

</sources>

That first line really belongs there. But this maybe not the problem.

Also in the channels file you have this line:

<channel id="bbcworldnews.com>1:0:1:848:4:56:300000:0:0:0:

which has a typo:

should be:

1:0:1:848:4:56:300000:0:0:0:

Typo's in the channels file are detrimental.

To edit the channels file use PSpad or NotePAD++.

Both editors use color coding for XML files (and many other files), so typo's are easier to spot.
