A kernel upgrde does not mean the box needs to be reflashed...

Ook niet als de kernel config aanzienlijk gewijzigd is (zoals nu het geval is)?

Jammer is dat ik had me er zo op verheugd, de ET8000 wordt over het algemeen toch al als het stiefkindje gezien, hij is in feite technisch toch gelijk aan de ET10000.

Well, you saw what happened to my et10000 after upgrading meta-xtrend to f3afce94f990be7e382a9c6b641b12290cc95de2 (which did include the last commits).

I guess you have made the submodule update too early. Afterwards there were 2 commits in the git https://github.com/X.../commits/master

I have build new et10000 OpenPli image. It boots without issues.

Hi betacentauri, seems MiLo reported issues after these new commits - It is interesting it builds for you OK, but it does not  for MiLo

would be great if this can be sorted -TiA!-

I have no idea why it don't work for MiLo.
Maybe a PR server problem? I did a fresh build without PR server and that worked.

The driver crashes as it loads.
I tried rebuilcding kernel and drivers. Same.
Apparently the driver contains a bug that triggers maybe because of my particular config or timing, but you cannot blame the PR server for errors like this.

I mean are the correct drivers included in your image? Perhaps old drivers are included or old kernel is running.
I'll upload my image this evening. Then you can check with that one.

Latest driver and 3.17 kernel and modules. If either simply mismatched, the kernel would have refused to load them.

I'm rebuilding the et10k image with new kernel, i'll upload it for you to check. Will take a while, my uplink is only 1Mbps.

No, I have also a prefab box. AFAIK it's the same you have.

I'm pretty sure all boxes are prefab.I have never assembled one myself.

Yep, image boot (met die grote dish als bootlogo) alleen cccam werkt niet meer.

Oftewel alleen beeld nu op fta, niet op gecodeerde kanalen.

Wat is de melding als je deze op de commandline start met "/usr/bin/CCcam" ?
