After using Pedro's advice, this message is gone. But as I said, no update, probably due to image not being build today.

The OPKG problem looks suspiciously like this one:

If you actually know what causes it to occur or how to reproduce the problem (other than "install openpli and upgrade it" obviously), contact the opkg developers, or post here if that's too much trouble.

It occurs to EVERYONE who updates that package. Please don't all start posting "me too" here.

If the message annoys you, either hack the /var/lib/status file, or simply reflash the box and the message goes away. It doesn't cause any harm.

Could be a similar issue with xp1000. if you get the message:

"Not selecting libdvbsi++1 0.3.6 as installing it would break existing dependencies."

Don't update online: it is time to flash the box again (31/3/2015).

You don't need to flash the box simply use the trick of Pedro on page 2 of this thread, edit and delete the entry in a file, quite easy.

Box became unstable: newly flashed, that message is no longer there, box stable again.

like it's been told many times already: this is completely harmless, no obligatory reflash required (!)

Sorry, but do i have to change any entries in the remaining libdvbsi++1 status? At the moment it is "unknown-ok-installed" and the old one was "install-ok-not installed".
