hi i see on epg import 0 downloaded which i scheduled at 9 am and tryed manual ,instanteley says 0 downloaded again ,i put that file as you instructed last month where i do,nt remember where ,when website somthing had problem ,and restarted the box was ok for one month about untill today ,i don,t know what happened ,and what to do know ,do i need to delete that file which i don,t remember where was that or reinstall something again ,i use epg import pluging xmltv ..and dreambox800 open pli 2.1 ,i come back for answer tomorrow that i go to work thank you duglover

You have to update the rytec source.

 

However on a DMM 800 this seems to be a problem, as no OpenPLi 4.0 exist for this receiver.

The only solution I know is install OpenATV.

i google it look like you asking me to install new image is called OPENATV and if it is an image what pluging is there for epg,possibily cross epg maybe and if yes i don,t have good memory from cross epg as it was starting download suddenley and took long time crashes ...etc and what support i get there ,i am happy with open pli

i went to   /plugin/epg import/sources/       but there is no botton to update ,i think i need to put updated rytec in the box by dcc,please put the file here and tell me which direction to put them thank you

Yes we're very happy with openpli...why we must change to other images ?

The problem is ,i 've tested to update rytec in dreambox 800 HD ,there's no way to download epg.

why instead of helping people turn your back to them,that is not nice,mydm800 still work loveley and will cost money to change it,would you?????????????

the Rytec team isn't turning their backs to anyone

it's not their fault dream turned closed-source which is why PLI isn't making any images any more for dm800

also the current security measures are being put in place to stop unautorized applications of flooding & overloading the epg servers

they cannot reveal the location of the new servers any more, if not the whole system will collapse and there won't be any epg any more for nobody.

so best solution in your case is to switch to openATV which still seem to support the dm800 and which have up-to-date plugins for the rytec epg.

changing your software to openATV won't cost you any money, just some of your time. the Rytec team members are devoting ALL of their time to keeping the system up & running.
